Start by mixing dish soap and water in a bowl. When the water is foamy, place your phone case into the bowl and allow it to soak for several minutes. You may need to place a weight onto the case to keep it sunk.

To remove blemishes and to clean around the corners, smoothly scrub with a toothbrush. You can also add baking soda if you find a very resolute stain. Clear Phone Cases

The ugliest truth about clear phone cases is that they turn yellow after some time. If you don’t want to buy a new phone case and save some money, you can follow these steps to clean the clear phone case that turned yellow.

The things you need to clean clear phone cases are dish soap, baking soda, warm water, a cloth or toothbrush, and possibly bleach. Take a cup of warm water and add a few drops of soap and mix it thoroughly. Soak your phone case in the solution for some time, maybe longer for stubborn spots.

Use a toothbrush to scrub the case. If the stains are still there, you can sprinkle baking soda over the plastic phone case and scrub a bit more. Then wipe up baking soda and solution off of the phone case with a damp cloth and allow it to dry fully for at least half an hour before you putting it back on your phone.

Rubber and Silicone phone cases can mostly be easily cleaned with a mixture of dish soap and water. Soak the case in soapy water and scrub it around the edges with a toothbrush.

For even more resolute blemishes, make a paste of baking soda and water and smoothly rub it on your case. Then wipe off the paste with lukewarm water and clean with a microfiber cloth. Give it some time to dry properly before putting it on your phone. 

Wooden Phone Cases

Wood is the most delicate phone case material, thus it is more important to clean your wood phone cases frequently. This will prevent oil, dirt, and debris from sinking in or scratching the surface. Try to avoid water when cleaning your wood phone case. Too much contact with water can cause wood to decay.

Rather, maintain your wood case by frequently wiping with a dry microfiber cloth. Note that the tissues or other cloths can leave scratches on wood, always use microfiber cloths that contain delicate fibers that suck up dirt without damaging the surface. 

For more sturdy dirt on your wood phone case, you can slightly moisten the microfiber cloth with a small amount of water and wipe. If it is an extra adhesive residue, add a few drops of white vinegar to water and dip your cloth in the solution. Never apply a liquid directly to the wood case, always apply to the cloth.
